I have an amp and 2 subs just laying around and i was wondering if they would hook up to the head unit. im going to put in a stereo sooner or later but i was wondering if i could do this temporarily. Its for a 87 supra

you could but it would be a little pointless and a bit of a pain in the ass. you can get speaker to rca converters, that would be your best bet. for your stock head unit anyway. other than that you really dont have too many options

I think he just wants more bass.

Sure you can do it. If you have line level inputs on the amp, wire them into the rear speakers. Alternatively buy, or make a line level converter (Seriously, 4 resistors)
