Guys,

I am installing the AEM F/IC this weekend and I am looking to figure out what the timing is of the stock 2J. It is obvious that tuning in boost is easy as I will pull .75 - 1 degree of timing per psi, but tuning ignition in vacuum is hard to figure out so that you get the fastest possible spool time.

Another idea is that I just don't tune in vacuum and then leave the timing up to the stock ECU until 15psi and from there tune. If that were so would I input -1 into the cell or would i have to put the original value -1 into the cell?

Thanks for the help

Ignition timing has to be tuned on a dyno, if you try to street tune, or rule of thumb tune ignition theres a very good possibility you will damage your engine.
