Hey guys, ive done a bit of searching and research on this topic but havent found any conclusive info on the subject.
I picked up an 1130 aem ems standalone with wideband o2 & 3.5 bar map sensor for an 89-92 at a very reasonable price, and would like to install it into my 86.5 na-t. I have my factory 86.5 na harness that has had all the egr circuits removed by previous owner. Also have an 89 7mge harness with gray plugs, still 100% intact. I have access to a yellow and gray 7mgte harness, ecu, and all turbo parts if that makes the install easier I will swap all turbo electronics over.
My question is whether it would be better to build a jumper harness and run the yellow plug harness, or repin the body harness plug on the gray plug harness with the yellow plug.....if anyone has any interest in buying the ems I may just sell it and pick up the correct box. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
