7mgte freeze plugs

Im having trouble on deciding on what type of freeze plugs specs etc.. on my 7mgte block, i cant find the front dome freeze plug on the autoparts anywhere, would a regular freeze plug work or it has to be a dome disk type?

Your best bet is to use factory ones. Some of the aftermarket ones do not fit very good. They are not that expensive from Toyota.

Thanks! I couldn't find 2 30 mm freeze plugs, I read that the older 7m had hex screw caps and the one I have doesnt, where do I get those from toyota, also I went to napa and we had a discussion that brass freeze plugs are better than toyota oem freeze plugs, I thought toyota freeze plugs were better? Which ones are good to buy?

Id prefer a part that fits and was designed for it vs something that may or may not fit.
