7m and 1jz ps pump piece the same?

is this same item found of the 1jz ps pump? im thinking its not the same but thought i would ask before i wait for someone to look on their engine

That's actually the idle up valve. It has no effect on the PPS. You can run without one, I did for years. As far as if they are identical I couldn't say.

ah someone mentioned it was for pps so i didn't really question it, i know you can run without one i was just gonna get another though if i could get one fairly cheap which i have found, but a friend may have one on his 1jz that he bypassed i just wasn't sure if it was the same exact piece
