1/8- 8.06

He ran a 11.9 but I just got the jump. I could see him in my side mirror coming on strong but I crossed the finish line first.

Can't be mad at that. Just goes to show you that a better driver will often beat a more powerful car. ;)

Good job sir, but I'm doing some serious hatin. Your cutting 1.8 60ft time on street tires and I can't do any better than 2.1 on Nitto drag radials! I've tried both slip and dump method at various rpm ranges. Most around the 5500 range. I once slipped it at 5000rpm, turbo spooled, it hooked and I was off! I thought that was going to be my first 12second pass with this set up and it was a 13.1 @ 108mph. The launch felt great, but it wasn't enough.

I know you're running a pte 6265 I believe. How much boost are you running and at what rpm do you see full boost. Are you running that quick spool or did you take it off? Did you bump up your compression ratio in the engine? What timing are you running off and on boost?

I'm trying to make sense of why my short times suck. My car is a dog off boost to begin with, and I see 10psi @ 4000rpm. I'm only running 15psi right now and it comes on some time after 4000rpm. I have a lazy turbo, and trying to figure out why.

Yes I'm running the 6265 but no QSV. Its at 19psi but I see about 10-11psi in first. Not sure when I'm making full boost in first it happens to quick. lol. I also rev to 5000rpm. With no two step it seems to work pretty good. What turbo are you running. These cars have the ass on the top end its down low were it struggles. That low to mid range power makes a huge diffenrence in a 60ft. My very first pass a month ago a was 2.1 60 ft. at 114mph which put me at a 13.2. With no boost off the line riding the clutch is the best way to get some power quickly. If you dump it the rpm drops to quick and your 60 ft. is shot as well as your 12 second pass. What is your 1/8 and how much power are you making?

I'm running a Garrett t04e 60trim T4 with Ptrim .70 divided tangential housing. Old tech.
Best 1/8th so far is an 8.53 @ 85.21mph. I've never dynoed my car, so I don't know what it's putting down at the wheels.

What gear ratio do you have in the differential? That seems to be my biggest problem, my car would be quite a bit quicker with even the 3.91, not to mention the 4.30.

Mine is sadly the opposite. Great power in 1st and 2nd, but by the time I get to 3rd, it really starts to feel sluggish. Then again, I'm still on stock twins, and they choke the crap out of the head anywhere past 5k.

the 3.91 diff helps for sure with my 60ft. I'm about to go with an auto and crank up the boost. I'm thinking about a 700r4. I want something with an over drive. I would like to make over 600hp through an auto.

Talk to Devin Leblanc on here, he can set you up with a nice, stout A34x variant for you. :)
