IDK im lucky it fits so well, used paper to make a template and guestimated where to cut the hole for the speaker. The crossover fits behind the cutout too. Better than I had hoped for.

Its all done now with tweeters any everything, sounds alot better lol. Very easy for those of you wanting to throw out your tiny speakers (or smash them like I did). I mean all I used was 3/4" mdf and a jigsaw....

Oh yeah dont forget the hot water tank insiulation, like dynamat but at 1/40th the cost.

where can i find some info on this tank insulation?

about to do two entire cars...

Its a nice dense foam with a aluminum top layer. Foam side is adhesive. Much cheaper than dynamat and also is a thermal barrier. Go check it out at homedepot or aces, Ive been using it in all my cars.

And i guess i was mistaken, duct insulation lol
