Let me start off by saying I'm new to these engines but my idea is to build a 2jz from the ground up. And put it in a 67-72 bagged c10, i want to pull around 6-700hp on 93. Go ahead and hate for putting it in that frame but i like uniqueness. Here's the problem am i better off getting a ge block and building it for a Turbo or just getting a gte block n building that, what route would be more lucrative and reliable. What setup is best in both instances. Any spefications on parts or any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I have both motors sitting in my basement down to bare block and with what I have read up on you can use either one and make the 700 range with proper machine work I myself like being unique and still run a twin setup but its all about the budget if you have a Non Turbo 7M and want to cruise then do it huge in a year use a GE if you have the money to do injectors turbo and cams right of or soon GTE just my .02 cents
