If it were me, I'd go for the VVTI option. Swap is a bit more difficult, but it's pretty awesome technology.

Even if you're not going for all out power, the vvti helps low and mid-range torque out quite a bit.

just a personal opinion, but i would personally use the non vvti 2jzgte, more simpler, easyer to tune, alot more aftermarket support. less headache.. cheaper


Also to add, that it still makes amazing power.
