Hey guys. I just wanted to know if there were any alternatives to keeping the A/C and power steering than to make custom lines. Like using the lines off of another car. Thanks in advance.

you dont need to make custom lines for either

P/S - either buy the MKIV one, or buy the line from DM line

A/C - swap the head from the 7M a/c compressor and you can use the stock a/c lines

werd.. my old 2jz swapped car had a/c and ps.. I had a custom PS line (DM line or MKIV works though) and the 7m top plate and a/c lines. Worked flawless

the top of my 7m compressor plate wont fit, or did you do some major grinding in the p/s pump?

(wanted to also throw out there that the DM line will probably only work with with early 2jz engines 91-92 it wouldnt work with my 93-95)

you will have to remove the upper rear stud though. I sealed up the port on the 7m top plate, but it isn't needed. I've done 3 1jzs with a/c and I just moved the stud to the lower bolt position instead and didn't use the top.

see right under the a/c lines the stud with the nut? that one.. Just move it to the bol location on the bottom of the a/c compressor

When using the mkIV PS lines do you remove the PS cooler? I don't see how the mkIII PS cooler can be retained.

I added a custom 9X3" cooler to mine, was like $40 from the auto store. Works fine.

I flipped my PS cooler around so that it came through the drivers side of the front bumper area. I trimmed a little of it off and ran rubber hoses the rest of the way to it to make it work. Or the above will work I'm sure.
