I have several questions regarding this swap and stuff I've ran into.
First, why the GE and not the GTE? I like N/A builds, and I was trying to get the car on the road as soon I could due to implications at home.
Question #1 Coil Packs; when I got the engine it came with coil packs, after some research they came from a 2001 is300. So I went to buy the ignitor too. My question regarding this, is it possible to run the coil packs without a standalone or piggyback? Or will I need to source a 2001 is300 ecu?
The ecu I bought off a guy turned out to be from a 94 es300 auto.
Question #2, throttle cable; because the ge intake goes over the valve cover I need a longer throttle cable, which one would work? The Camry one?
