1991 MK3 Supra – 1jz Non VVTI
Check engine light is not throwing any codes. If the throttle is floored or barley pushed the car will not respond. It just creeps slowly. Around 2400-4000 the car will just studder and resume idle as where other times will rev no problem to 7500.This is with the clutch pushed in. With the clutch out I cant get it to 2000 rpms. It does not matter what gear I am in I cannot get this car to go over 5mph. My fuel pressure is good. It does not miss or backfire. It will overheat however. I can’t find a post with these symptoms.
