Hey one thing to note that I have learned from personal experience is, do not trust the gopro's adhesive mounts alone to hold your camera in place. It will fail on you sooner or later and drop your camera. Even if you do clean the mount area carefully with alchohol etc.

I back up the mount with an additional layer of duct tape as a safeguard.

Camera will likely survive the fall, god knows mine have survived hitting the ground at around 80km from around 500feet but finding it can be an issue.

Excellent, just wanting to save a potential gopro user from learning hard lesson I had already learned.

Mine fell from a quadcopter, while another was sent shooting off the side of my car on the highway. Found both (2nd one not so easily) and both survived but others may not be so lucky.
