1jz Low Idle when i start it.

been runnin my 1jz for 1 year alrdy, when i start it, it starts in low rpms bout 500 and it doesnt start as strong as it used to, but once it warms up a lil ithe idle goes up to 1000rpm. so i dunno whats going wrong with it... any help will be appreiciated.

I would check your idle air control valve(IACV) thats exactly how mine starts because I do not have a IACV, its blocked off.

un plug the valve and see if it starts any different when its cold.

mine does the same thing, runs very rich when its first started, then it acts good after about 2 minutes.
