1990 Supra, the foam on the door speakers is deteriorated, is it worth repairing? (if so how?) or where can I get a set of replacements that are relatively cheap, easy to install and work?

just replace them, speakers are not expensive. it looks like the front speakers are 4", unless you have the 6.5" brackets. either goto an electronics store like circuitcity or best buy and you can look there, or search around the web.
This post should be moved to Supra Audio, where there is plenty of info on replacing the factory speakers.
Just replace the speakers. They're common 4" speakers, you don't have to spend a lot of money aftermarket to get speakers that are better than the OEM ones.
