That rubber hose appears to be an odd size (~22 mm I believe). A buddy at Goodyear Rubber had a piece of rubber tubing laying around that fit but kinked, so i put a smaller diameter hose inside to keep it from kinking and it seems to work.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it looks like this is on the NA only. Posting this information should help others if they have an EGR trouble code; it would have saved me a lot of time had I known about it.

Did you get that plate off afo? If so, what did you find? Could not remember if there was a gasket on that plate, but making one if you damage it should be no problem. AJ - I could not find that plate in the TSRM, what page is it on?

Anyone know what the make and part number is on the bearing so I can go to a local bearing supplier and match it up?

I had an EGR trouble code, the EGR system appeared to be blocked and after doing some digging found a plate on top of the intake that revealed part of the EGR passageway that was blocked with carbon deposits. Easy fix but could find no info in the shop manual or on this site that mentioned it...
