I have a broken one in the front drivers side and the only way is to press out the dam bearing and you might as well put in a new one since your there and just replace all the lug bolts.

Yes you should still vent the tube to relieve the pressure in the gas tank,just run a hose on it and vent it to the bottom of the car.
