Well, I found the problem.. The new clutch coil.. When I installed it, it had little bit of play in it. The snap ring was in holding it in place.. but it still moved little bit. Due to that, the pully chewed it up when the car was running. There is a small difference in thickness of the back...

Update.. A/C clutch resistance was 1.2 ohms. This was below the TSRM specs. So, I got brand new A/C clutch kit from Toyota and replaced. A/C worked fine for 30 mins. Again, it burned the 10A fuse behind the kick pannel. What else could be going on? something else is shorted out.. any tips?

Well, I guess I closed this issue too early. I replaced the A/C fuse in the kick pannel, but after 1/2 hr with A/C ON, the CB next to it tripped. I reset it, to get the A/C back ON, but it tripped again. I must have a drain somewhere in the A/C circuit.. Could it be the A/C clutch as Figgie...

How did you connect the new injector clip to the car's wiring? Hope not crimb connections. You need to solder those..

That was it!!! the fuse behind the passenger kick panel was blown.. I didn't know there was a hidden fuse that side.. I only checked the fuses in the engine bay and driver side.. Now, the A/C is ice-cold again.. thanks for all the help.. this forum makes driving supra possible..

I have Autozone replacement radiator with lifetime warrenty. Works fine.. no overheating issues.. Dont buy radiator from Autopart.com.. I found out the hard way..

I have Random Tech 3" high flow cat. Car didnot pass emissions with 550s and lexus AFM. With stock fuel and AFM, car passed with this cat.

Fuel filler tube is flanged to the tank.. there is a gasket there too... why would this gasket leak liquid fuel, if the tank is half empty?

I need to get an alignment done, since I pulled the steering rack for rebuild, and balljoints replaced. I was thinking to go to a tire/alignment place close to work.. but should I go to a dealer for this? what is the general experience with supra alignment done outside dealerships? thanks.

Thanks supraguy.. I had the rack already off.. so, I left the damper mount on, and just unscrewed the whole piece with damper braket from the rack piston.. worked just fine.. used two wrenges 7/8" and 1-1/4" wrenges to take the rack end off.. Per the TSRM, I need Dextron II ATF for power...

Have anyone tried to replace the steering rack boot? I am trying to do one on the passenger side.. TSRM is asking for all kinds of SSTs to be utilized.. Any tips ? Regards,
