i'm going to be there for sure. i quit my job just to be able to work on the supra this summer, hows that for dedication???:naughty: Only work for the summer is my fabrication shop i run out of my garage. Which reminds me, if anyone needs anything welded or parts made, shoot me a pm(support the...
had the same problem when i first swapped motors, in fact that was my first ever post on a supra forum. where your harness comes through the firewall and connects to the body harness, you need to disconnect one of the smaller plugs. i forget which one cause its been 3 years since then, but that...
oh i see what you're saying, you want to upgrade twins but keep the stock manifold and use an adapter. why not just use a custom twin manifold. i'll make you one if you want :naughty:
so would something like this be a good choice?

as brought up, there isn't any room for error. will this be strong enough?
does anyone have anymore up close pics of the A1 products? in particular the toe arms? it seems like those could be made pretty easily. I might want to give that a shot sometime soon, but i'd want to pick the same parts as A1 in terms of dimensions.
and i always thought hiem joints were...
after looking at these rear suspension arms a thousand times on horsepowerfreaks, i still don't understand which is which. here is the tsrm pic:
ok the lipp traction arm is the bar on the very bottom labeled "strut rod"
which is the A1 rear camber kit replacing? (no. 2 lower...
so i have a 91 that came with power steering, what would i need to buy to do this the proper way? is any of it listed?:
champion toyota oem catalog
i've also heard something about using a rack from a mustang... is that a better choice?
at least this is somewhat recent...
anyways, i'm somewhat interested in removing my power steering as well. were there any mkiii's that came without power steering. i don't know much about the steering system since i haven't messed around with it yet, so i don't know if there is something i...
nice find on the graph! what do you make of it though?
EDIT: wait, is that twin gt28rs's? it looks like the only difference is spool time really, otherwise almost identical. this is very helpful
yes, buts thats a gt2876r, not a gt28r. as far as i know, a gt28r is just another name for a gt2560r, which is way smaller than a gt2876r.
you also keep saying efficiency. what do you mean by that? is it just a direct relationship with flow in this case? the stock 1jz came with twins. i...
550 hp? i thought thats pretty good for twin gt28r's. they aren't rated that high....
i want to get over the "omgz, huge turbo!" thing. i have an sc61 on the car now anyway. its not about the "wow look big twins," i want it to be "wow look at all the nice fab that went into making this...
but say you wanted to run twins, even if a single would be more efficient. say twin gt2871r's....would the smaller a/r turbine housing be the correct choice?
BIC had that twin gt28r kit and made 500 @ 20ish psi. i think a twin setup will be just fine, just different then a single setup...
yeah i have a friend in tampa. it seems like every night he's out somewhere at a race. i guess there's some bridge by him that everyone races on cause there's nowhere for the cops to sit.
