I especially love it when they ask if my motor is a 2j (which it isn't ) and I tell em yes anyway . Lol
I would think the 300 is possible if he used too much oil . You only need a little to determine if the rings are bad on those two cylinders. Use too much and the oil has no where to go at first . Plus you could always do a leak down test afterward.

The oil pump is the same . But the pickup tube will be different - because of the Pan difference .
Just swap the external parts off the Supra to the Cressida motor and call it a day. Why bother breaking down the head when the motor already runs fine .
