    Project Clean 87

Did you consider the routing / path of your exhaust piping? The location or lowness of the pump and filters may likely cause an interference. My 4" barely clears the bottom of the subframe tucked into the rounded area cutout, but still scrapes occasionally on speed bumps, driveways, road...

    Technico Adjustable Cam Gears

Do you remember the HKS or TRD 7M adjustable CAM gears? The Technico is essentially the same construction; the original gear modified with a sliding plate mechanism for the adjustment, and some fasteners to lock all components. Pretty much straightforward. Overall benefit is that the original...

Everybody's build thread! Pics of before and after...

^^^ Engine bay pictures kinda dark, can't see details too well. But setup looks fantastic nonetheless :-).

I keep going back in time! Finally found a mkiii--meet crimson tide

Ken, you can get any replacement glove box, and just unscrew the outer cover to replace with the cover of your older damage one. I'm assuming the original cover is in decent condition. This is on my '87 & '88. Not sure if the newer boxes changed.

    Sheedy Built Supra

I'm liking the progress development of the new version. Good job on "focusing on the details"

    Race Ready 7M

Really sorry to hear Van. Truly heart breaking. Definitely don't what to say other than take a moment to consider the options. F'ing thieves. That car was my inspiration.

    How to decrease boost

You can't go lower boost than what the spring rate of the wastegate is. Need systems that can allow you around FC; VPC, REBIC LC, Lexus AFM/550, standalone EMS, etc... Or stay off the gas pedal

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Car looks sweet Ken. Congrats on the purchase. Except for stance and improved braking modifications, I wouldn't bother doing any engine modification (maybe aesthetic). Start doing any engine performance mod's, assured reliability and dependability becomes skewed. I'm sure you already know...

89 GTE Makes a fog horn noise

This woot sound has been the case for the Bosch / Porsche BOV since peop's started putting it on the Supras. My recollection dates this mod back to pre-yr2000. What's old is new again http://supras.com/06/techcenter/display.php?QID=19

Ryan's 92 build thread aka NashMan

Interesting manifold there. Did you fab' this completely Ryan? Source? Your entire build demonstrates patience and dedication. Can't wait to see end results.

    Tnice17's 1987 MK3 Street Build - Weekend Warrior Project

The issue here is that the SS flex lines aren't designed to be submerged or immersed in oil/gasoline/petroleum fluids. So who knows how long they'll last in service if used in this manner. YMMV

    Race Ready 7M

Van, do you have Dif and Trans(manual 5spd?) cooler. You're monitoring temperatures, so I'm envisioning that you have some type of cooler(s) to mitigate temps if they are getting too high?

    Race Ready 7M

Seen this advertised on many of those automotive programs, but haven't dug into it's viability for racing applications though. http://www.evanscooling.com/products/powersports-coolant/

Blue Monster has just been returned from the machine shop, and I have some questions.

Seems like the pitting is around the coolant passages, rather than around the cylinder bores, do you could possibly still use a MHG. Your best option is to use a MHG that also has some type of elastomer on it. I don't remember which brand has this, either the HKS Bead type of Stopper type...

Introduction to a group buy for fully built r154 with custom made gearsets

And then, this is just your opinion and you are not speaking for everyone. There will be some people, probably a majority, that'll prefer just getting their gearbox upgraded, and have it BOLT right up to their engine, just to avoid the fuss on getting adapter, modified bellhousings, etc...

    Man cave

Buddy of mine got the MaxJax to work on the Supra along with his other vehicles in his garage, http://maxjaxusa.com/ It's ideal for garages with low ceilings, and if you're just tired of laying on your back. No standing room under the elevated car though, but just enough for a rolling seat.
