Intersting numbers JDUB´s got there. It seems as if I am going to re-install the EGR again.
However, it would still be nice if there was a way to relocate the EGR if I am planning on installing a FFIM.
I´ve removed the EGR and as of today I have had no issues w/o that ugly U.F.O....
Nevertheless, a sticky would be a great idea. I did some searching but couldn´t find clear pros and cons.
I remember these words:
The only car that best suits you is this one:
Acceleration 0-100km/h: ~3-4 seconds.
In other words: Porsche...
You´re not the "limousine-guy" and you will never be one, my son...
How right he was... now I own _quite a fast_ car... :evil2:
My beloved Supra :D
Won´t work w/o changing and connecting the whole harness. It´s a real PITA and A LOT of work + risk of screwing a couple of things up. Don´t even try to do that. Trust me.
You should give it a try and see how it looks like.
If it fits don´t post pics.
If it does not fit and looks gay don´t hesitate to post pics! :biglaugh:
If you want a good advice:
Even if you are considering rebuilding it from the ground up you will have more issues with a blown one than with a "good" one. For instance:
Head
Block
Crank
Valves
etc.
Better get a "good" one and rebuild that one.
Just my personal experience. And...
Yep, it sounds like the EGR is causing problems. I had the same symptoms. Check the lines. I forget to connect the one which leads to the intake plenum on the right side of it.
I don´t have a picture but you should know which vacuum line.
