Well - you already know what I think ... I think they're damn sweet lookin' rims.
Mine are the same rears, but the fronts are 9" wide w/ +41 offset - I put 285/40's and 255/40 Kuhmo ASX's on there and the only time they rubbed was when I first installed the coilovers & the rears were tucked...
So how's it going John?
Put any holiday time-off to good use, working on the Supra ??
I just loaded mine onto a trailer & waved goodbye, so now I've got to live vicariously through you & the rest of the Supramaniacs online.
I realize that most folks around here are only interested in going fast 1/4 mile at a time ... but for those of you whose tastes are more like mine - I thought I'd mention that I've got a nice set of Zeal coilovers (for the MkIII) for sale right now...
Ya - I loved 'em, too ... now I'm parting the car.
Bought 'em used off SF - that helped keep the price down.
... can't believe I haven't found a local buyer for 'em - really don't wanna screw with shipping them.

Pro-E ... hated it
Solidworks ...
Obviously I'm not so good at this that I can whip out a 100% finished design, but here's a rough draft of my idea ... if you like where it's headed I can make it look like something - if not, I haven't wasted too much time.
Sounds like you're planning to write the EMS calibration yourself? If so, then you must be confident enough in your ability to give it a shot. If you're planning to hire a pro to setup your AEM, then you oughta talk to them before buying those 1000cc's.
I started out with RC1000's & an AEM...
maybe that's a 90mm Q45 tb?
No whistling here w/ ffim - heard lotsa Mustang guys bitch & moan about whistling, though ... seems to be hit & miss with them.
75mm edelbrock/mustang t/b here.
If you haven't already found your way over there ... stop by http://www.celicasupra.com/forums/
Great source for the MkII crowd & plenty (and I mean plenty) of people have done the swap you're considering.
Autometer Electronic Speedo
I got my sending unit from these guys:
Its a unit that screws into the tranny where the stock lower cable goes. It generates an electronic signal right there. With no throughput - the oem cable's gone ... so no speed signal to the TEMS or Cruise or Variable Power...
ya ... or "yeah" if you prefer (but definitely not "yay")

it's the car's tag:
