Well, was supposed to be the seats up today, but there was a family problem on their end and they had to go to the Hospital. Hoped everything was alright and will keep in touch with them over the weekend.
I'm assuming using a 3-point harness bolted up to the stock pillar location is a bad idea...
Well technically I'm swapping calipers from one car to another. The rear brakes are already done from the previous owner. I just want to remove them and repaint them. When the time comes I will post pictures and ask advice then.
I will heed your warning though. Thank you.
I have no idea what sub I'm going to get. I was going to do that last. I don't know much at all about subs, so I was just going to go with whatever was inexpensive, but not cheap, if you know what I mean.
Whyyy!!!! Every time I think I know what I'm going to do I get persuaded to do otherwise. haha.
I'll keep an eye out for a 5 channel, but is 50-75 watts really enough to power a sub?
Ok. I have a c-clamp, just wasn't sure what the pad was pushing against the piston because it didn't match the pad going on the car.
I'm like a child when it comes to building things. I need nice colourful pictures and a simple detailed write-up. Doesn't help that I've never changed the brakes...
Good to hear. I'm probably going to pick them up a little later this evening. I was guaranteed by the guys 'Wife' that they are genuine. Let's hope because I know where they live. :P
Care to do a writeup? :D I've been looking for an easy to follow writeup since I will be doing mine in a few weeks when the weather warms up. I'm a newbie Mcnewbus.
Gotchya. I am not sure if I'm going to run any rear speakers at this time. I figured if I got a 4 channel amp I could run the front components and bridge the last two channels for a 10" sub.
I was looking at the Alpine MRP-F300 300 Watt Amp...
I officially hate you... :D That is a distant future project I would like to tackle, but don't keep my hopes up.
Anyone have any pics of 89+ tails tinted with film? Seems like an easy and decent way to go?
