Reaching out to the members on the site. I got plans for the spring time for my 1JZ and looking to have it tuned by a pro. I would be using the AEM Version 2.
I've reviewed some of the regular wheel fitment sizes in the thread for the MK3 but I haven't seen much on the wheel sizes that fit for the lowered MKIII's out there.
Can anyone tell me the widest size tire that would fit with out rubbing in the turns on the front end with the eibach springs...
So I just picked up my type A greddy speed eliminator for my 1jz. Unfortunately I don't read Japanese lol. Can anyone tell me the correct main switch settings?
Hey everyone, I finally got my 1jz into my mk3 a few days ago. I had to order a new MAP sensor (4 bar). After I plug the sensor in it will idle just fine.
The issue that i'm having is that as soon as I open the throttle, the car will shut right off and not turn back on until I UNPLUG the...
Hey everyone, I have a couple of connectors that i dont know where they go to and i could really use some help finding that out.
pictures 1 and 2 are located by the fuse box.
picture 3 is off the group of wires for the igniter and the PS connector
picture 4 is grouped together with the...
Hey everyone, I picked up a R154 transmission. I haven't seen the inside the bell housing before so sorry for the noob question. I've looked at the diagram for the r154 but it doesn't show the clutch fork setup of what i have on mine. It came off a 1JZ, I figure it's for an after market clutch...
So I have a DUMP pipe that I'm putting on my 1jzgte. I know the pros and cons of the dump pipe so input isn't needed please.
Just wondering the best location for the o2 sensor, I have two spots I can place it. Either on the rear turbo exhaust pipe OR at where both the turbos exhaust flows...
Hey everyone, I ended up buying a 1jz today, it all looked to check out until i got home and noticed a group of wires that were cut. They're the largest cluster of wires that go under the rear of the intake manifold and i'm having trouble of identifying them. Can anyone help?
I'm doing a 1jz swap into my 90' 7mge body soon and I've heard that the 1jz harness ecu wires do not need to be extended if put through the drivers side of the firewall but that the body plug wires do.
My question is if anyone knows for sure if the 1jz harness body wires are shielded?
Well i got a problem with my turn signals and hazard lights not flashing in my 1990 7mge body. I checked the haz/horn fuse in the bay and it is still getting power and changed out the flasher with another from a 1989 supra that worked previously. I haven't gotten into any extremes yet of trying...
Relatively new to the forums and having no luck in finding an answer. I have a 1990 7mge and planning on doing a 1jz swap within the next few months. My question is referring to the body looms on the MA70. Do the body looms from the inside of the Ma70's match up to the 1jz harness body plugs?
Does anyone know (if applicable) if the 1990 7mgte harness will match up to any components from an early 1989 7mgte? Such as the igniter. If so, what else?
Just looking for a simple answer to see if anyone knows if the pre 89' auto turbo ecu would or would not plug into the 1990 turbo manual engine harness. I know the 1989 year was a transitional year so no need to lecture too much, lol.
