Been working on this car all winter. Its finally running and pulling nicely. Visually was getting there only needed a good paint job then bame I hear knocking in the engine. My mechanic said the bottom end rod is going. Well here are some pics of my never ending project :cry:

Just got a MKIII turbo, looks like it needs alot of TLC. Will be my project car. I owned a 86 n/a along time ago, graduated to the mkIV and loved it for a while. Decided to sell it and settle down with the wife and kids. Now finally back with something to start over again, love these cars...
