    2jz A/C question

When i ran AC on my 1jz mk3 6 years ago, I did not have any sort of ac fan. I converted my motor to the clutch fan setup from the USDM TT 2jz and i drove it like that for about 20k miles in brutal texas heat with the ac blasting. No problems what so ever.

    JZX100 Mark II R154

Yeah the Soarer R154 has the tri-pod shifter. I am assuming you are looking to go auto to manual. If so, the compatible transmission you should look for is a Soarer/Chaser R154. The MK3 transmission is to short.

    1.5jz vs 2jz spool time

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I meant to say the 1jz exhaust ports are bigger that the 2jz exhaust ports and the 2jz intake ports are bigger than the 1jz intake ports. I was not talking about overall head flow. Overall form on stock form, 2jz wins, this is proven fact. Will it make any...

    1.5jz vs 2jz spool time

I think the 1jz has a higher flow rate on the exhaust ports versus the 2jz if memory serves me correctly. If anything, your 1.5JZ will spool the same as a standard 2jz, give or take 100-300 rpms worth. Not enough to even worry about.

Fuel System: Go big or go home?

I rest my case. Just FYI, when I ran the ID1000 in the past, all I has controlling fuel at the moment was an AFC-II and my AFR were solid all throughout the powerband. Idled exactly at 750rpms and purred like a kitten. If i were to build another fuel system for the street, I would buy the...

Fuel System: Go big or go home?

Do yourself a favor and get Injector Dynamics 1000cc high impedence injectors. Very easy to tune, will support the power you are looking for and there's plenty headroom if/when you do upgrade for more power. Also very e85 friendly if you choose to burn the corn. E85>race gas imho.

    help building a 2jzge-t

I think it depends on whether your having the crank cut. I know some ppl who have the crank cut one size over and use bearings that are one size over.
