Ok man. I know I don't know EXACTLY what I want. I'm not finished looking. And sorry if my last comment was interpreted as angry grr comment. I have some cash saved up, its not huge but its some, so let's not get into arguments based on assumptions. And as always, I always appreciate some input...

If you love LS1s, put one in your car. I'm not the LS1 guy.

Even if it WAS lighter, unsure, it would still change the feel. I'm about how a car feels.

Driving unlawfully. How old are you?

So true, just last night was my first close call. I was in my sister's 2002 TRD Celica, my car had a cell die in the battery, and I was "Drifting" out of Subway parking lot in the rain, and some, not to sound racist but, Somalian woman pulls out of a parking lot without stopping at the sign...

Everyone loves LS1s.......... But me. I feel swapping a heavy motor in a small car ruins the way it would feel.

Beginning drift car, I'd like above 20-30, don't want to break the bank screwing around. Real drift car, once I establish to myself I can does, don't care about gas mileage.

Odd jobs. And a car lot has me make sure cars are within reasonable driving condition.

I've thought about those, but for beginner drift car I'd also like fuel efficiency. I had a 4.3L Vortec bend me for gas.

    Importing from Japan.

I mainly want a low cost drifter for now. So S13, MK3, or Corolla is what I'm looking at. THEN I want to get me hands on something like a Skyline, Supra, or RX-7. The problem with Skyline is lack of parts in America, problem with RX-7 is rarity of FDS and learning an almost alien-like motor, and...

Hmmm. I'll see if Mk4s are dor decent prices in a year or so. I have to wait to get anything started, but wanted to get facts straight first. Maybe a Trueno. ---------- Post added at 06:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:51 PM ---------- Or Corolla as their sold here. I've seen a few...

Driving unlawfully. How old are you?

I am 16. I drive like a moron only when inflamed. Under normal circumstances I drive safely and slowly. But when some dude on my street is yelling at me or the guy next to me challenges me to a race I bring down the rep of sane 16 year old drivers everywhere. Never been close to wrecking though.

The least expensive MK4 I've found is $12000 and its a NA automatic. Both are negative things for me.

Yeah. I'm only concerned for track. A daily driver Skyline/Supra/RX-7 is a bad idea. Too much chance for one of the few in America to be destroyed by even another motorists incompetence, let alone my own. (I mean FD and MK4s, their too rare for my taste in dds)

I'm mainly interested in Skylines for importation if a Supra became difficult. Like what mods must be made to make it race specs? Because that standard is debatable. If its just performance mods and gutting it, I can do that in 180 days easy. (by gutting I mean removing extra seats/carpet...

Turbos that I don't know much about.

Yeah, I'd like to get stock turbo for simplicity.

This is not of my concern. Like they don't sell Skylines in the U.S, but they do in Japan. SO, my only way to get a track only Skyline would be from Japan. Or a Mk4 Supra due to rarity.
