So you just removed all the old brackets and the new one just bolted on? Did you have to modify anything? Also if you remember where you got it could you provide a link?
Any insight you can give me about the throttle body bracket? I am running into the same issue where it is hitting the power steering
Btw. Nice build. I'm almost done with mines, just running into small little issues to address.
I replaced them with 2 100psi gauges. Make sure they are 1/8 npt. I forgot where I got them but I'm sure you can source yours locally. Then hook it up and do the math. Turns a cheap tool into a pretty good tool for the price I think.
I bought the harbor freight leak down test about a year ago. Only problems I've had was the gauges were shitty out of the box. I replaced them and they are still good. Actually just used them this pass weekend.
Can't say too much about the harbor freight pressure tester. Never used theirs...
Yeah I'm with ofnarcr4. That flywheel doesn't look good either. You're probably better off with a new flywheel. Without knowing the history of the car it's just a little added insurance. Why do the job twice?
Did you try posting in the wanted section? I usually have luck over there when I need small things like that. Usually people sell the trim as a set but you might get lucky. Other than that you could try the junkyard. Good luck. Hope you find what you're looking for.
I would check for rotted brake lines. Maybe even get someone to press the brake while you look under there.
When you say "just did brakes" what did you exactly do?? Pad slap? Cut rotors or replace them?? Did you lube your slides??? How did the hardware on your caliper bracket look?? There could...
Tbh I've never had a problem with just using lock tite. If I could reuse the old washers I would with alittle lock tite on the threads as well. It's really up to you. I'm sure you could find them at the dealer.
Thanks for the input and links guys. Ij where can I find more info on dba?? Quick google search and couldn't really find a site for them. And for the whole eBay disc, a couple of my buddies used them for a little while as well. But they had the drilled and slotted. They didn't have any problems...
Looking to put some slotted rotors in the rear. Just wondering which brand people are using. I found a couple online here Has anyone had experience with any of those brands? I did a google search and centric seems legit. Also if anyone else is using something different lmk.
Plans for the supra...
Nope nothing under that hump but the tank. Mine has rotted out and I can literally touch my tank. I plan to fix the rust and weld in a piece of flat metal there as well.
Yes. Seal is there and still intact. Ima have to see if I can find the black piece that goes behind the headlight. I noticed that I can see in between the hood and headlight when it's closed. Pretty sure water is coming in through there. Does anyone actually know if this peice redirects the water??
Wouldn't it start pooling up on the passenger side too then?? I might drill a hole there as well for the time being. It's something until I can figure it out.
Water is pooling around my battery every time it rains. I removed my battery and tray and found rust starting to come through. Not good. How is water getting in there?? Battery is not leaking so I know it's not the battery. I've search too. Someone said that missing the black plastic piece...
