    Overheating Nightmare !!

    do you have good heat in the car or does it come and go, if it comes and goes then he did not get all the air out of the system and that will make it over heat going down the road. you have to us vacuum type system to pull all the air out right. just putting coolant threw the radiator will not work.

    did you make sure that your bleeders are on the top side of the caliper? because if you have them on the bottom it will not get all the air out of the calipers, even if it looks like you did. air wants to travel up not down.

    the only way i would go bigger valves is if you are going to port the head out. big valves on a stock head only gives small numbers in flow its not worth it.
