sorry to bring this back from the grave but i am thinking about doing a t56, i was wondering what you did as far as the flywheel/clutch set up? could you go into detail more?
So I'm looking for options here, I'd like to stick with the r154 if all possible, I'm shooting for mid to upper 6xxwhp with my 2jzgte vvti swapped 89' but as you all know the stock r154 won't hold that.
I thought about going with a GM trans as they are cheap and easy to get and fairly cheap to...
Thinking about getting this exhaust as well, sounds like the only issue it it may hit the rear sub frame and some flanges may be warped?

progress update!
t67 ended up being blown so now I'm in the process of putting in a pte 6766, i have relocated my battery to the trunk with a kill switch for the track as well as ordered my pro efi 128, i want to get the turbo on and then i think I'm going to order the 3" stainless catback...
Jacks might be the place I go, I'll look those others up, not saying Aaron can't do good work but there isn't much trail of confirmed people with success stories which scared me

I was looking to have my r154 rebuilt and was leaning towards Driftmotion to do the rebuild, has anyone had their r154 rebuilt from them? Or do you have a different place that you would recommend

Got everything mounted and wired, flip the switch the lights turn on flip it off or trip breaker and they go off, good sign! I can't start the car to fully test it because I don't have a turbo yet : / but here's how it is now
I'm kind of confused, could you explain the wire routing? I guess I'm not sure how the wires are ran I can just see them coming off of the plug, if I understand right the "l" wire goes from the alternator plug directly to the dash board light to trigger on the "check battery light" ?
