So i took a 7MGE donated graciously by a Cressida, and freshened it up, now swapping it into my 87 supra NA manual trans. I'm putting it all back together, getting ready to drop the trans and engine back into the supra. But in swapping over the parts, I see a thin "spacer" sitting on the back...

well we run times like 2:21 and 1:56, stuff like that, we run on 2 - 2.5 mile road courses, like infineon, buttonwillow, Thunderhill, high plains etc. i was just using drag times to see if anyone had any actual numbers. it's like I thought, no reason to change it, just put it back together...

Thanks for the clarification, my concern was on the other end - and i was not clear about it. I am taking a crssida engine and putting it into a supra. Does the cressida pan fit into the supra engine bay without modification?

I'm told the cressida pan does not fit in the Supra, is that incorrect? I do have the supra oil pan, and the OEM lasted 250K miles, the last 10000 miles s in endurance races lasting 14 - 20 hours, so it s worked pretty well!

I am putting ARP connecting rod bolts in mt 88 7MGE. I check summit racing, they only list for a MGTE, I call ARP - and they do not have that engine listed. Anyone know for sure if the turbo application will fit the 7MGE - for sure, not guessing? thanks Carl Johansson
