The reason why this happend was when my tranny died on me i wanted to save 50 bucks on towing so we hooked it up to my dads expedition...
he tied an extra rope around the nose for more support and it ended up just yanking it forward...
you think i could still save this one and when i get...
Just drop it in Low and work your way up lol......
What I do...
MK3 has an overdrive button so you can shift through all the gears...
I feel cool shfting and pushing buttons lol.....:sarcasm:

No i mean when i start the car it wont come on for 10 seconds or so...

ECU coolant Sensor
I reset the efi then did it....
I'm just curious.....
Does it mean anything if there is a delay before the check engine light cuts on...? were talking like 10-20 sec
The ECU Coolant Temp is the reason for it comming on...

even when everything was acting up it still managed to get me home everytime...
When my tranny went to shit and only the 1st 2 gears worked it held up for 2 months untill i could afford to get another one swapped in...
bottom line is still fix was is broke then soup it up...
