    Reinforcing the rear toe arm...thoughts?

Just use a set of gussets, properly fitted to the tubes and stitch welded. That would greatly reinforce the joint that failed in IJ's picture.

    ALT/ charging problems

For that matter, are you sure the battery cables and connections are in good condition, as well as the heavy wire going to the back of the alternator? A lot of times the problem is the wiring or connectors.

    Stock shocks for mk3 supra

The TEMS system is made up of (4) shock absorbers with an internal oil-control valve that's adjustable through the center rod, (4) electronic stepper motors that sit on top the shocks, a control module, a pitch/yaw sensor, relays, switch (sport/normal), and an indicator module in the dash. TEMS...

    TEMS cover seals?

If you're talking about the foam seal that goes between the TEMS cover and the shock tower, I made a set out of 1/2" - thick EDPM foam rubber. McMaster-Carr is a great source of "raw" materials, and after getting the foam sheet a day after I ordered it, a few minutes with an Exacto knife saw a...

    Stock shocks for mk3 supra

That's interesting. Maybe that's why the Tokico Illumina shocks seem to work so well as replacement; Tokico knows from experience exactly what design parameters to use.

    Stock shocks for mk3 supra

The shocks for a TEMS-equipped vehicle are not the same parts as used on a non-TEMS-equipped vehicle, even though they physically mount the same. So if the vehicle was ordered with the TEMS option, then the "stock" shock would be the ones with the adjustable internal valve. If no TEMs option...

    Disconnected Electrical Connectors

The connector next to the igniter is for the headlight washer relay. Toyota generally develops one wire harness will all possible connectors for a given vehicle model, but if a new car buyer doesn't order a particular option the electrical connector(s) for that option are simply unused.

What color should I paint my MKIII....

I haven't used the rust stopper primer so I may need to look into it. The RustOLeum automotive primer does a nice job too, at least for small repairs. It can be color-coated within an hour, depending on drying conditions.

What color should I paint my MKIII....

Charcoal Gray, if you're determined to use RustOleum. You may have to put a layer of primer on first to get a good bond, even with sanding.

Is there a particular speed or driving situation where the vibration is better (or worse, for that matter)?

    Rust advice

If I were the one repairing the rust, I'd cut out the rusted section and weld in a new section. Depending on whether or not a factory panel was available, I might have to fabricate a patch panel, using the same gauge metal and fitting it carefully for minimal gaps. My next steps would be to...

    Rust advice

Any rust damage can be fixed, it's more a question of is it worth the cost, which can be time as well as cash. Pop-riveting a piece of sheet metal over the rust hole isn't what I mean when I say fix, either.

    leaking gas tank

The old-school way to fix tanks was to clean the perforated area, apply soldering flux, and solder a small piece of copper over the hole. The solder melts at a low enough temperature that the plating isn't damaged. These days there are repair kits on the market that use a metalized epoxy. The...

    leaking gas tank

Mikael, welding a gas tank is pretty iffy. You're correct, it's the fumes that cause the problem. Also, if you weld the tank you'll burn off the protective plating on both sides of the steel, which will lead to future rusting.

    leaking gas tank

That section is probably rusted out. The tank is plated steel for corrosion resistance but can still rust from the inside or the outside. Gas tanks getting small perforations in them aren't uncommon on older cars. It's possible to fix the holes but it's usually easier to get a replacement tank.

    leaky tail light?

Do a water test: spray a hose on the various parts of the back of the car, starting from the bottom and working up, uuntil you get water in the car. Don't have the hose nozzle set to a hard stream, but more of a spray. As has been said, the taillights have gaskets, but so do the mounting pins...
