    Socal Roll Call with Pics!

Nope. Looks like SCS is dead, man.

would a 57 trim ct26 bolt on to my 7m withouight modifications?

That looks like one of the T4 manifolds which are a clone of the JDM spec T4 manifold. The difference being that it doesn't compensate for your A/C and you'll notice it's a bit "tight" if you put an actual T4'd turbo on it. ex. I squeezed a 60-1 on mine with a 3.5in downpipe, but had to do...

    weight reduction

1.) Join a weight loss program. 2.) Get a hard top, pre-89. 3.) Add power to compensate for weight and think like a Supra owner. There's a link somewhere on this forum that shows weight for every component on the MK3. I wouldn't change a thing and stick to option 3, IMO. The Supra is one...

    Matte colors on supras????

There's a MKIV on SF that did the matte black. Looked kinda nasty IMO. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=523682

    sticking brakes

I had a similar problem, but it was all 4 brakes. I want to say the main culprit was the brake cylinder, though I had a few other problems like bad calipers too. I replaced the brake cylinder, bled the system, and replaced that uhh... 'valve' that goes from the intake manifold to the booster...

    Stay 7M or go 1jz or 2jz?

Big brakes are a welcome addition as with any upgrades to safety, but not required with your power setup. Upgraded rotors will do you just fine.

    High Flow Catalytic Converters

The funny thing is, a majority of us CA guys will always get noticed for 1 glaring thing: front license plate not being there. Then it's all just downhill, haha.

    High Flow Catalytic Converters

Dug around some more, here's the BAR's list of aftermarket cats allowed: http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermktcat/exemptcat09.pdf Not saying you won't pass with another cat, but this is what CA "wants," I doubt your smog tech is going to go out of the way if your numbers are clean.

    High Flow Catalytic Converters

This: http://www.bar.ca.gov/80_BARResources/ftp/pdfdocs/ARSCNwslttr_Spring2009.pdf Says there aftermarkets need an EO(executive order) number. This means the state of CA approves it, and says it doesn't do anything to affect the air quality. A non-EO'd will get you an instant fail of your...

Way to break in your engine???

I did up the 4000 in 4 gears without boosting, varying the rpms around gears, then took it back home to cool down. Drove it like normal without boosting, oil changes at 500/1000 with straight 30 weight, at 1500 I went synthetic. Check the technical forums for more info, there's hours, maybe...

    Stay 7M or go 1jz or 2jz?

You should see if Aaron still carries the 3in electric cutouts. Pair it with a DDP, and keep that stock exhaust.
  14. EdT.Mk3

    Stay 7M or go 1jz or 2jz?

Stick with the 7m and you'll be fine. Aaron's got the stuff you'll need for the fuel, ie. pump/FPR/550s/lex afm.

Looking at rims for the next several weeks

If you're into 5-spokes, but not really wanting to run 962s like a lot of people I've seen, here's an option: XXR 502, 5 dual spokes, 8.5 in the front on 255s, 9.5 in the rear with 275s, +35mm all around. Thinking about spacing them another 8mm, also considering a lower drop but then it'd be a...

pic request - fuel door hinge

I attached the image to the post. Piece A makes it bounce out when you pull the cable(I think you're referring to this). Piece B locks it in place when the door closes up. You can pick these up at the junkyard for about 1 dollar.

Questions for those who run a blitz nur spec on 7m

Actually, I skimmed it. I don't know the length of your exhaust from the BIC DDP to the catback... but tweak with the cat and weld the flanges to fit? There's always some play room in there, unless it ends up pushing the canister out like a sore thumb.

And I thought Bosozokus PARKED were bad enough...

Well... I like the negative offset rims. That's pretty much it.
