Check the block and all threads real carefully to make sure none of the threads stripped out. I'd also say check your socket and/or the nut... I've seen sockets break and nuts break from too much torque and they make a loud crack sound

And if you're wondering how... Remove EFI fuse, disconnect plug wire from plug, insert spark tester into plug wire, ground spark tester, crank engine and observe tip for spark.

Engine does not start with acc. pedal depressed.
No vacuum leaks.
