Is it a good idea to make my own custom dash and door panels? I'd like to make more basic panels and replace all of the switches (door switches, somehow the knobs behind the steering wheel). Is it possible for me to buy an aftermarket electric module thing that controls my windows, door...

What powers the power windows/door locks, a/c, windshield wiper, all the switches, lights? Is it all from a single electronic module?

Well, it's not like I want all new OEM parts.. I'm doing custom interior and stuff, but I want new technology in the rest of the car like new cars have.. How can I do this? And, can I get a chassis built as a replica of the 1990 chassis?
