Any one heard any thing about this or is any one got it in their car personally?
Alright i have a GTE that has a 87 head on it but a 89+ block. what wireing harness do i need to get or are they all the same? only reason i am posting is because of the difference in the block and head.
I have been reading and have come to find out the 89 year is a big problem year if you are swapping ge to gte and one done it them selves what is the hardest part and what are some tips and tricks?
what are the advantages or disadvantages to the swap. I know the gears are diff but are they stronger built and if i am going to do a gte swap on my ge would it be worth it since I have it out already?
what brand would you recommended going with and why. I cannot find any thing searching so i am asking. i have not found a legit store that shows pics of one in.
Would having the 7m gte rear end in my 7m ge make my car feel like it has no power? Do you think it would be a better thing to have it in there or worse off for my car for get up and go reasons.
I have seen others replacing their targa top seals and what is the rtv stuff they note and could i get this at my local hardware store?
