did you seal the box to make sure it was air tight with a silicon sealant or a wood sealant of some sort?

they are most likely foglight housings. i picked them up because they were the perfect size 3X6.5. the projectors are generic ones off ebay that i took apart

here are pics of my newer ones as promised. for the back part of the housing im thinking of making a mold to make the new piece or fiberglass the current one. the last pick is of the light cut off using a dinky LED light. Oh and excuse the mess, when im in school it tends to get that way

7m, not sure if there would be a difference. but i went to the junk yard earlier today to take measurements. its about 9.5 inches too the brake valve thing and alittle under 10.75 in to the wall
