The HKS SSQV is designed in a way that it's impossible to leak supposedly. I have one on my 7m and it works great. Plenty of vids on youtube. They make different inserts for it too if you wanted to go that route or you can get a recirculation fitting. I don't know about the others you mentioned...
Got the knock sensor in today and it's all fixed thank goodness! No more code 52 making my car all slow. For those that don't already know: if you're changing your starter watch out for that sensor! Very easy to break. Thanks for all the help guys
Air in the system will cause a spongy pedal and can also cause your pedal to the floor. As they have said above you definitely need to bleed the system and you should've bench bled the master cylinder before installing. A blown master cylinder (internal leak) can you give you all these headaches...
Well, after having time to further look at it. It turns out it was the sensor in itself. I just ordered a used one for $36.00 so hopefully it works like it should ha ha. I'll let everyone know how it goes once I put it on.
From what I saw last night it just looked like the connector on the wiring harness but I haven't had a chance to look in the day light. I will do that as soon as I can. I appreciate all the help from you guys. Hopefully Toyota will have one if that's the case. We'll see.. I'll let everyone know...
