Replace all of the applicable fuses. I ran into this yesterday. The fuses all looked good, but the car wouldn't start until I out new ones in. It costs $0.60 and isn't a bad idea, even if you don't need to.
I got it running yesterday, for the first time in 2 years. Turns out the primary culprit was just a "bad" fuse. I say "bad" because it wasn't actually blown, but yet I had no power to the fuel pump until I replaced it. Weird.

Mine was a jumbled mess of tape and plastic bags and tyvek, which was then thrown in a box. It took about 10 seconds to open the box, but about 10 minutes to remove the hoses from all the other shit.
I've finally managed to collect all the various hose clamps needed for this kit. I'll sit down and build a list of sizes and how many are needed, as well as where I got them from. It was a bitch trying to find 3/4" t-bolt clamps...
I'm gonna try to make it down for this, but I really have no idea if I'll be able to. It's about a 4.5 hour drive for me, but I haven't been to a meet of any sort in ages. I'll touch base again closer to the date and find out what to bring if I'm able to come.
I've always thought the pre-89 front ends looked better than the 89+, but to each his own. I'd love to see the red one with the bomex lip... Anybody know who it is?

I'm working on collecting the parts now, but who knows when I'll have time to do the swap. I haven't really figured out how I'd want the grille to look yet, so I'll put some photoshop time in when I can and will post my favorite options for everyone to critique. Not that I'll listen to you...
