ok well the ingnitor is sitting about the intake manifold on the firewall and just wondering if it being so close to the motor and getting more of the engine heat im guessing but being mounted on the firewall close to the motor would that cause any issues ? any ideas on were to start looking...

so is that the turbo ignitor the big black box that has the two plugs going into it..... also ive been driving without issue for over a year now on this swap do ignitors just go out some times or is that outside the norm

no i put 15k miles on the motor with the new ecu im thinking it might be the fuel pump ive never replaced the fuel pump but the rpm needle starts to jump around right before it dies and im just assuming im loosing fuel to the motor since it idles perfect and it only happens after warming up but...

also when i swaped the motor i replaced the crank position sensor the o2 sensor pcv valve pretty much every sensor except the idle air control valve all the vacuum lines are new as well as the ecu

i have my iridium plugs gaped to .025 and it runs smooth as silk so i put the coppers in without gap and went for a drive and i got spark break up at full throttle/boost so i gapped them down to .025 and ran them no more spark break up on boost but idle was jumpy and ran to rich for stock...

i used to have break up in my 1jz at about 3500rpms and then i gaped it to 0.23 and now there is no issue you might just want to tighten that gap and see if it helps

well you never know tell you see them on the car maybe they will look good maybe they wont and if they look ugly ill just strip them down to metal and polish them up
