I had an inkling that it was ECU related as I checked and there was voltage to the ecu but not outputs. So I popped it open and it appears as if one of the capacitors has failed. I will replace it tonight and see if this fixes the problem. Thanks, KC

Nope but I have some good ideas who it may have been. But now I live secluded out somewhere and no one comes to my house! You just can't trust random people you meet on the internet, lesson learned.

Yes I can turn it over by hand. The compression is good and the motor spins freely when cranked by the starter.

Hi guys sorry I never updated this but the day after I posted someone tried to break into my house and steal my car/tools. So since then I have been wary about posting information on the internet. I have since then moved so I feel better now.

Thank you for the quick reply. I will check the ECU tonight and I will like for a spare ignitor. I worry though that since the injectors are not firing that it might be more than the ignitor, which I think only controls the spark.

Hi guys, I just started a new project and purchased a 1jz supra front clip. I comes with a 2 weeks start up warranty so I'm trying to start it in the clip and make sure everything is ok. It arrived yesterday and last night I began working on it. It has missing the 30a & 40a fusible links...

It hasn't been running long enough for that to happen. Give it a couple hours on the dyno and it should be. :icon_bigg

I found another ignitor and on wednesday I'll have time again to try it out.

I meant ignition coils. I already have a full suspension (cusco comp-zeros, jic upper a arms, st sway bars, custom endlinks, etc)

I'm debating whether or not to switch to upgraded coils or keep the stocks ones for now. I have another dyno appointment scheduled for Wedensday.

Well I just got back from the shop and no good news. We started out with a water pump leak and then ended up with burn ignitor. So I'm going back tomorrow and trying to finish it up. I took a lot of pics and when I get back to my home town I'll post them up.

I found a trailer and I'm going to load up right now. I have to drive to Mesa to tune it and luckily the dyno guys were going to be there late tonight anyway. I'm going to get ready to go. I'll post tonight or tomorrow morning my results.
