thank you soo much for the quick responce. i have tried 3 usb to serials and just simply wont work and i just ordered a express card with a serial port to give that a try . are you using a usb to serial? if so, what kind a buddy of mine has a dyno ill be all set with that, thanks again

i have the same question... i wired in my map ecu, and it powered up when turned in turned on... then i tryed to un plug the map ecu with the harness still attached to the ecu and it didnt wwant to run at all ... i removed all wires from the ecu and it runs no problem... is this normal?

this is weird... when i installed the map ecu the car will not idle even if the map ecu is not plugged in and just the harness is conected to the ecu. when remove the harness comletely the car is back to normal and runs fine any ideas? also the data cable dose not work with a usb adapter...
