I have an HX35 on my 1JZ Full boost around 3k, but it chokes up top. Didn't get a full tune and it has stock cams too, so take it with a grain of salt.

KYB GR2 are equivalents to OE. I would highly recommend if budget allows to go with Tokico Illuminas instead, or if you can push further, a full set of coilovers. Megan Racing Track series, Tein Superstreets and Stance GR+ are excellent budget coilovers.
