Well I think I found what I'm looking for... For all those that the 4K rev issue, this may be the fix...

Guess i should be a little clearer

I have 2 problems,
1. Engine will not rev above 4000
2. Once engine is hot it will not start (it will not turn over like batt is dead, once cooler starts right up).
When I extended my harness, the diagrams I used showed only 1 wire on 1h1 pin 10...
If there is no pulse 12 VDC to the subject connection to the ECU during the START, is it likely that the ECU will not recognize that the car is started and limit the engine to 4000 RPM?
My bad , sorry for misleading info, the wheel is a Momo not Recaro… Thanks for your post Rollus, your installation looks great!! My wheel does not have any place to install switches as it is all metal, except for the leather grip. It looks like this one...
Here’s the dilemma, I put on a Recaro steering wheel (JZ)and as a result had to delete the cruise switches on the steering wheel. I would like to keep the wheel on. Is there an alternate mounting place for the controls for cruise? I could take the switch apart I guess, and or wire some new...
Hooked up the AC clutch relay and 2 feeds to the ECU for AC (A/C & ACMG) also tried to jumper FAN ECU pin 7 to ECU PIN 7 (thru EA2) best guess as I don't have the ECU internals to know what is what. Still no luck..... :(
Standard ECU and R154. I decatted the CAT (thought it was blocked and it was not :( now it stinks) and although it is the stock exhaust (2.5") it should not stop the turbos from kicking in. How are the turbo's controlled? Is it mechanical or electronically controlled? It is kinda weird...
Strange thing when I first start the car and accelerate, I can hear the turbo kick in a breath. It only does that the first time I start the car and go, after that it does not seem that the turbo(s) work. Is there something that controls them?
Yes and the strange thin is higher resistance should make the fan turn slower, as temp goes up and resistance goes down the fan should turn faster. Neither is happening, so there must be something else like the ac connections. Also My engine is limited to 4500 RPM. This may be a sense of an...
I hooked up ohm meter across pins 9 and 10, reading was 88K (sorry forgot it was on the 20k Scale). Started the engine, took it for a quick drive and as the water heated and started circulating the resistance dropped to 42k ohms. From this I would assume the temp sensor in the rad is working...
No I have not, however I did start the engine in the clip and the fan was "idling" (running at a low speed) so from that I assume that it was (or should be) working.
