Thats a great colour for mk3 Supra.
Have been trying to find a set of Red Mica side mouldings for some time. Hard to find stuff. So many idiots have over painted them here in europe.
Interior is quite plain at the moment. Well now I can clean everything nicely. Heater core return pipe was cracked from four places. One crack had been repaired by someone that know what he was doing. One by someone who was not so sure and two by that idiot that used body filler and some...
Was trying to find a new condenser but here in Finland no one can provide it for supra. Is there any other toyota model that would fit?
The link in first page goes to PartsTrain page but can't find a fitting one there either.
Was planning to use R12a but will go r134a. It's the most...
Heh.... summer here is short but it can go over +30c sometimes.:biglaugh: Last summer was quite cold but two summers before that had both a long heatwave period. In winter temps can go below -30c so we realy have four seasons here. I don't like driving windows open and don't like to sweat while...
Happy new year to all,
Well I decided that I find something positive from the coolant leak and then it hit me. Full service for a/c. I was planning to do it much later but since now I have to dismantle the interior it's a good time to change the o-rings and expansion valve from evaporator...
Info on the charcoal canister? I have been looking for some small canister to free up the space for other use as well.
My friend who is automotive engineer told me that the toyotas fuel vapor system in mk3 supra needs to have the canister in warm/hot place so it would work the best possible...
Exhaust :) 125mm steel tube goes from mufler to outside. Dying in carbon monoxide poisoning is not fun so this was my solution.
All primed and ready. So it's time for the first start.

And it runs!!! I looked quite suprised how easy it...
Test fitted IACV, by-pass and valve cover breather hoses. And by-pass valve it self.
Snug but everything fits.
Thanks. Like them lines my self also :biglaugh:
I might get OldCrappy running soon. Still waiting some parts for wastegate control and some connectors.
Exhaust is done. Water lines for turbo are done. Fuel and oil mods are all done.
Made hard water lines for turbo.
It's getting close. :naughty:
I have used their leathers in two cars. First time 3 years ago and now to my OldCrappy project. Their quality and fitt has improved alot from the first time I used them. Good quality leather and good strong seams. And the leather they use even smell nice. Much nicer than a new BMW leather...
Small steps but going forward.
Interior is nearly ready. Some new black leather with grey stitching. Everything else is going to be stock except shifter knob. If I find a good original knob then I use it.
Started fabricating the exhaust. From turbo to flex it's 2.5 inch and after that...
HDi GT clamps are 75€ piece. I would need only 2 so it woud be 150€ > 165 USD. I realy like them but just can't justify spending that amount to couplings.
Intercooler is offset since it's in original place and I like to keep my front bumper intact. Goal for OldCrappy is that at the...
Thanks. There is not many things that I hate more than one silicone connection after another in engine bay.
I would love to use these couplings but they are quite expensive so black silicones for me now. Maby some day.:biglaugh:
