Not coming to S.A. anymore, thy girlfriend moved up to the dallas area. I ended up buying a newer transmission and went with an aluminum flywheel and 6 puck act clutch. I still can't believe I was able to swap the transmission and clutch over on my own. But I'm just glad to have it back...

I think just getting the r154 rebuilt will be the most cost effective option. I plan on ordering the full rebuild kit from driftmotion and have a local trans shop rebuild it. Hah its frustrating the lack of mk3 supra owners in utah! The utah focus community is about the same size as the san...

Yep taking the trans out really wasn't too tough... the most trouble i had was getting the effing starter off. I know putting a trans back in will be the tricky bit, but guess i'll find out when i get this trans all fixed up. Found out i have some ACT clutch kit on there too.

I was planning on having the supra transported down and just driving the focus and loading it full of stuff. it will be hard moving the supra around without having that working trans, as i'd be living in my girlfriends apartment. I mean she has a garage but she just bought a brand new vehicle...

Probably once I figure out that's the exact thing i want to do. There's still a lot of time til i'd move down to san antonio. But if the transmission isn't fixed by 6ish months time.. I'll just sell the supra.. :nono: so yeah i've got about 6 months to figure this out

Thanks for the link! I'm waiting on a quote from one shop about it. If i go that route i'll just yeah order all 3 marlin crawler shift forks and a better thrust washer. this is another route i'm considering going... http://www.jackstransmissions.com/products/stage-3-supra-r154 I would like...

That's what I was starting to lean towards. I don't have the balls to open up the trans but I'll look around for some r154's. Theres a w58 I found on the local classifieds. I haven't found a direct answer yet but i think all i need for the w58 to work is a flywheel from a 7m-ge. I see some guys...

Not so good news on my supra. I do not know much when it comes to transmissions but.. it wont engage 1st or 2nd gear. Like, I could have the car running and without pushing the clutch pedal in, I can push the gear lever in 1st or 2nd and nothing happens. Just a 1-2 shift fork issue or a thrust...

Focus is a manual currently has cheap tires on it but amazing handling. Its a saleen model, basically saleen bought 200 zx3 focus' and, made like 90 of them "nitrous ready." Mine isnt one of the nitro ones. Anyways they upgraded the suspension, tuned em, cat back exhaust, threw a body kit and a...

Yeahh street racing is very frowned upon here too. I'm not planning on street racing myself either. I'd rather do it legally. I just love cruising with other drivers.

Thanks! Yeah that was a random road about.. 35 miles north of SLC, so. more plain. I'll get a mountain canyon driving vid up soon enough. probably in the focus. Not sure I trust the supra for that kind of drive yet. Its tough cause the good canyon roads are typically busy so I get stuck behind...

haha yep looks like i'm going to burn up like a mofo. and yeah from what I understand, dry heat isn't as bad as humid heat. so.. that'll be Real fun. I'm hoping I like it better than our winters and... salt on the roads ugh. I'll miss the snow drifting and yes, those canyon roads and for...
