Update: I sold my supra and am going to be buying another soon... This time I know what to look for so I will hopefully have no issues with the new one.

What would I be looking for down the cylinders?

I am having this problem with my engine, When you go to start up the car it will crank but then not start... you shut the key off and try again and all of a sudden the engine shacks real hard and you hear the starter make a noise like you are trying to start the car again while it's running...

The motor in my 86.5 is doing the same thing but the valve cover gaskets were bad.

Did a compression test on the supra today and found out that the head gasket it still good... got 175-180 compression on all cylinders (at first was having some issues with #2 but found out didn't tighten up the hose all the way). Replaced the valve cover gaskets due to them leaking into the...

Gonna call performance Toyota tomorrow and find out how much they run and also how much a vent tube is to go from the block to the driver side valve cover.

Is there a fuse on the side of the head light motors? (i think i see some but i can't get them to come apart.)

Gonna need to do a complete KS rewire looked to see if there were any connectors on the engine harness and could not find any at all.

Passenger headlight will go up if manually put down but will not go down... Driver side goes up and down no problem. I'll have to find where the switch is and try testing it if i can. if not that will be added to the list of things needing replaced.

As the title of the thread states I can't get my passenger side headlight to go down (unless i manually crank it down) and while driving and I turn the high beams on they will randomly shut off then have to flip to the regular beams to keep driving. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix these two...
