New one piece for $200? If that's true I might have to start making a few calls around town.
I was reading through the thread earlier. If I don't end up going for a one piece I'll definitely look into it. How annoying would you consider doing that for someone who has minimal fabricating skills?
Well, I went under and all the bolts holding the diff to the frame seemed to be in good order. I did however find that I could rotate my driveshaft just a smidge by hand creating a audible noise. I could also wiggle it all around inside the center support driveshaft bearing. I'm going to go out...
I'm kind of hoping I crawl under there tomorrow and that it's something as simple as that. My drive-train has a has a certain "slop" to it since I bought it and that solid clank I get when I go from off throttle to on the throttle just makes me cringe.
I have a loud clunk/clank on accel, decel, and shifting... It's a 91 NA but it looks like I'll be checking them bolts tomorrow :S
The previous owner has turned out to a be a award winning moron regarding work done on the car so I wouldn't be surprised.
I brought my car in for an alignment at PepBoys and they did not adjust caster as they said they didn't know how and that it wasn't possible. I think I remember multiple users here saying they had changed theirs so I was curious how it was done. The alignment guys didn't seem to understand...
I was considering finding a hard pipe solution for my GE intake due to the fact that mine is falling apart as well as being bulky and ugly as hell. How much of a negative effect would an aftermarket solution have on the intake in your opinion. Would it decrease horsepower and fuel efficiency?
Alright that makes enough sense to me, I appreciate the response! When tightening the long bolt it seems that the inner sleeve protrudes the tiniest bit so that the washer doesn't press on the bushing as much as I thought it would.
I know the lower cam washers are flat. I also know the upper washers are not flat. Being so, I need to know which way they face since it will either press more on the inner sleeve, or alternatively on the rest of the bushing but not the sleeve.
Hmm, now I have two conflicting answers. If...
Thanks! I was rummaging through the TSRM diagrams but somehow missed that one. That solves my lower cam bolt question. As for the upper washers, I just got two new ones (last ones available in the country!), and they come with that shape and are not a result of being over torqued.
So in my...
I'm currently in the process of reassembling my front suspension and I have a couple questions regarding the upper and lower control arm bolts/washers.
On the upper control arm bolts there are those two convex/concave washers and I'm not sure if they install so that the recessed part of the...
Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I somehow just blanked over the last part of his post yet read the rest of the responses, my mistake. Looks like injectors are next on my list of things investigate.
